Free Support for All Small Charities
Thousands of small charities suffer from a chronic lack of
resources, skills and expertise, despite having an abundance of
passion and commitment.
The Small Charities Coalition exists to help these small
charities access the skills, experience and resources they need to
achieve their aims. The Coalition is like a
voluntary sector matchmaking service, matching small charities with
other organisations that have the skills, experience, and in some
cases resources, that the small charity lacks. These skills and
experience may come from a fellow small charity - known as a friend
to the Coalition - or from a supporter, for example a larger charity
or a business. Becoming a friend of the Coalition is FREE.
Small Charities Coalition aims to match you with the most
appropriate skill, experience or resource you need .They will offer
you support and encouragement as well as free advice on best
practice and good governance.
“The Small Charities Coalition helped us identify our needs and
matched us with a bigger charity so that we could learn from their
best practice. The Coalition has allowed us to build our capacity,
and this has been very rewarding.” Maria Bavetta, Chair, OCD-UK

work about the importance of assessing the risks for all
workers. osha.europa.eu/en/publications/reports/TE7809894ENC/view |

Labour's Third Sector Measures May Survive Under

was speaking at the annual conference of chief executives body
Acevo. See Third Sector news item at www.thirdsector.co.uk/News/964677/ The
speech from current Cabinet Office Minister Tessa Jowell is online too. |
