Presentation Workshop: You’re Only Selling Yourself
10.00am-4.30pm Wed 3 June 2009 (please make own lunch arrangements)
at High Peak CVS, Bingswood Trading Estate, Whaley Bridge
Discover how to be a confident talker, because confidence is the key to success. It’s all about personal presentation – how you look, how you sound and what you say. You’re only selling yourself but, just like any other skill, you need to know the rules, you need practice……and training.
Former BBC TV reporter Alistair Macdonald, will teach you to be memorable whether it’s a 1-to-1 meeting that’s worrying you, a small presentation or a major speech.
His workshop will teach you:
■ How to overcome your natural fears.
■ How to structure your presentation or speech.
■ How to prepare, practise, perform and perfect your delivery.
■ How to engage and hold your audience.
■ How to tell a good story – because Facts Tell, but Stories Sell.
■ How to be memorable.
Free to High Peak voluntary and community groups without paid workers.
