Development Work

Helping local groups and organisations to develop is a  major part of the work of High Peak CVS.  This development work has wide-ranging aspects, such as help with: setting a group up for a specific activity; developing the structure of the group; applying for funding; training for various skills; advice and information.

You can find help with some of these on this website, under the main menu headings of: Funding, Training, Support, and Information.

High Peak CVS helps with specific types of groups through the dedicated development workers:

Small Group Project

Specialises in support to small voluntary and community groups in the High Peak, particularly those who are disadvantaged, marginalised or rurally isolated and have no paid worker. Development worker Liz Fletcher undertakes this extensive work.

Arts

High Peak CVS can offer arts development support to community groups, festivals and creative industries in the High Peak. Nigel Caldwell takes the lead on this work.
