Manages accounting and financial procedures of HPCVS.

  • Ensures the CVS has effective Financial and Administrative systems to operate effectively and efficiently, including analysis and management of budgets, income and expense and VAT.
  • Manages a complex budgeting system.
  • Offers finance advice and support to voluntary and community groups
  • Compiles the financial forecasts, annual budgets and reports of financial information, including annual returns.
  • Oversees the arrangements for Board Meetings.

Leads on the communication and community engagement role for High Peak CVS.

  • Manages the High Peak Community Messaging Partnership alongside Derbyshire County Council Public Health
  • Evolves and develops High Peak CVS communications to create a much stronger connection to our vision and mission and the values we work with. 
  • Develops and implements processes to help us engage with our members and our local community.
  • Supports our local voluntary and community sector groups in maximising their reach and promoting their services

Takes the lead role for the development, management and maintenance of information management and administration systems across the organisation.

  • Acts as data controller for the organisation and lead on management information systems across the organisation. 
  • Manages public contact and project administration across the organisation liaising with project leads to understand the monitoring and reporting.
  • Provides frontline and appropriate practical office services to community groups and signpost as appropriate. . 
  • Assists The Chief Executive Officer in marketing initiatives.
  • Provides comprehensive administrative support for all projects of High Peak CVS

  • Leads and facilitates the Bereavement and Loss Support Groups across the High Peak 
  • Leads the work of the Development Worker (Groups) in supporting local and community organisations

Supporting members with various practical and governance related issues  which can include:

  • Discussing and helping to develop group ideas
  • Help with setting up: publicity, writing a constitution, forming a committee, reaching out to new members, networking
  • Advice or training on running meetings
  • Training advice and one to one support in your group role
  • Dealing with challenging group situations
  • Group advocacy with other / larger agencies
  • Bringing groups together for support or joint projects
  • Offering support to those groups that link and support our Social Prescribing clients

Responsible for identifying opportunities and applying for grants and funding to enable High Peak CVS to continue to operate and support the local community. 

  • Identifies, research and assess potential funders and their fit with High Peak CVS charitable aims and objectives.
  • Manages funder recognition and wider stewardship activity to ensure long-term sustainable relationships.
  • Supports the wider team to ensure that criteria for funders are met and regular updates, progress reports and other reporting requirements are submitted to funding bodies.
  • Develops relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Offers funding advice and guidance to community and voluntary groups

Her role is to support our highly skilled Social Prescribing team to develop the service delivery and ensure the most effective and comprehensive support to the residents of the High Peak. As the Lead for Social Prescribing, Mandy will engage and work with referral partners and agencies to ensure best practice for supporting those that would benefit from the social prescribing service as well as working closely with the Primary Care Network and PLACE Alliance. Mandy also oversees the link between social prescribing and our community development team to ensure we continue our support for local groups and organisations that are so key to our local community.
