Development Worker (Bereavement)  {24 May 2021}

Organisation: High Peak CVS

Salary: Salary 25,991 pa 37 hours per week

High Peak CVS is a charitable organisation that supports community and voluntary groups across the High Peak area of Derbyshire. An exciting and vital opportunity has now arisen to support and expand our vital Bereavement Service.

This role will be an essential part of the team and will work alongside the existing Bereavement Lead and offer additional group support to those dealing with Bereavement particularly during, and as a result of, the COVID-19 pandemic.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within the bereavement service field with a clear understanding and knowledge of trauma, complex and PTS related bereavement.

This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

Fixed Term Contract until 30 November 2022 with possibility to extend depending on funding.  Pension Auto Enrolment Scheme, 5% Employer contribution subject to Employee Contributions.

Location: Home Based and/or Whaley Bridge travel required throughout the High Peak.
