Bright Side Courses DCC

Courses specifically designed for people with mild to moderate mental health issues or who are experiencing emotional or psychological distress.  

Derbyshire County Council are offering a variety of free courses to people who have mental health issues or who are experiencing emotional or psychological distress.  The courses are designed to support wellbeing and recovery by supporting people to engage in interesting, fun and new activities in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 

The following courses are running in April:

An Introduction to Dry Stone Walling Chinley Park, Starts Monday 23rd April 1pm 4pm (4 weeks)

Spring into Life Allotment Group Glossop Community Allotments, Starts Tuesday 24th April 10am 1pm (4 weeks)

3D Felting Glossop Adult Education Centre, Starts Friday 27th April 12.30pm 2.30pm (6 weeks)

Time to Relax (Mindfulness, breathing exercises and stress reduction) Fairfield Adult Education Centre, Buxton, Starts Monday 30th April 12.30pm 2.30pm (6 weeks)
