Bereavement and Loss Support Group

To address gaps in support around loss and bereavement in Glossop.

A pilot group is planned, and then see where to go from there. Maybe a regular meeting for peer support, a drop in, several groups setting up around particular kinds of loss….. ? Sharing useful information and being there for each other? All ideas welcome.

Wednesday 13 June 12-2pm at the Glossop Labour Club (upstairs room) Chapel Street, Glossop.

This meeting is for people with bereavement issues and will be safe, confidential, friendly and welcoming. We will hopefully planning ongoing sessions.

Please join us if you have suffered a recent bereavement and are struggling to find local support, if you were bereaved sometime ago and feel a bit stuck or still feel the need for some support from others like you. Please also join us if you feel you have managed to come through and are able and ready to help others.

For more information please contact Liz (HPCVS) 01663 736426, Or Debbie & Andy (Glossop Carriage Company / Co-op) 01457 852059. You can just turn up to the meeting if you prefer and feel free to bring somebody along if that’s helpful too.
