Derbyshire Volunteer Passport

Training for anyone aged 16+ who volunteers, or would like to volunteer, in a role supporting adults.  

This is a free five session course delivered over five weeks - 6pm 9pm, Tuesdays commencing 10 November at Glossop Volunteer Centre.

The training sessions will cover:

  • Keeping adults safe (Safeguarding and Mental Capacity)
  • Health and safety
  • Introduction to first aid
  • Putting people first, communicating well 
  • Equal, Diversity and Inclusion

Learners who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate and identity badge as an accredited volunteer recognised by Derbyshire County Council.

Open to all those currently volunteering and those who would like to volunteer to support adults.  No previous qualifications required
