Blythe House Hospice announces the launch of an innovative new project to
bring Hospice at Home services to patients and their families within the High Peak.  

The new two-year pilot, run in collaboration with existing  health care professionals has been launched  in response to the call for greater patient choice; for some people their last and greatest wish is to die at home in familiar surroundings.

The service startedon 11 April and will support patients and their families and carers with sitters day and night.  Overnight sits will offer carers the chance to have a good night’s sleep, while a few hours during the day gives carers a break to go shopping or have time for themselves.
