There is a choice of two half-day ‘Fire Safety in Village Halls’ training seminars:

Hulland Ward Millennium Hall on Tue 8 Nov 2pm – 4.30pm (Dog Lane, Hulland Ward, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 3EG) Delegate fee £40
The current fire safety law in England and Wales is covered by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It applies to general fire precautions and other fire safety duties in non-domestic property, which includes community buildings. Helping village and community hall management committees understand their legal responsibilities.
The sessions will include:
- The need to appoint a 'competent person (s)'
- How to carry out a ‘fire safety risk assessment’
- What fire safety precautions to use - where it is reasonable & practical to do so
- Useful tips for village hall committees
- The need for a Fire Safety Policy
