This is a basic level introductory course focusing on adults and aimed at people who have no previous mental health training or who are non-mental health workers whose work or volunteering brings them into contact with people with mental health problems.  

The courses are funded by Derbyshire Public Health and the CCGs and are part of an ongoing programme of training aimed at the voluntary and statutory sector.

Interest in these free courses is very strong so places are limited to five people per organisation per course. Early booking is advised. All courses run from 9.30-4.30. Lunch is not provided but hot drinks will be available (either free or to purchase) on the day.
