Aims of the Training:
- To gain a greater understanding of different Eating Disorder types, including signs, symptoms and possible causes
- To gain a greater understanding of what recovery means with regards to Eating Disorders
- To gain an insight into support tools used with Eating Disorder clients
Training is delivered at the main office in Derby City Centre. All First Steps training courses are delivered by expert trainers specialising in eating disorder management. Training is ideal for qualified counsellors and therapists. First Steps Derbyshire can also provide support materials in formats to suit all forms of learning styles.
Confirmed dates for 2017 are: 30 September and 25 November (First Steps Volunteers only)
Workshops will run from 10.00am-4.00pm with time allowed for coffee breaks and lunch [not included] and cost £99 per person

1940, London, the Blitz; with the country’s morale at stake, Catrin (Gemma Arterton) an untried screenwriter, and a makeshift cast and crew, work under fire to make a film to lift the nation’s flagging spirits; and inspire America to join the war. Partnered alongside fellow screenwriter, Buckley (Sam Claflin}; the pair set off to make a film that will warm the hearts of the nation and capture the imagination of the American population.
