There are two opportunities to apply: in July and November 2017.
First deadline is July 14 2017
Who can apply to this fund? - Small to medium High Peak organisations with an annual turnover of £50,000 or less.
You can apply for a maximum of £2,000 for any voluntary and community project that addresses the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’; particularly for people with a higher risk of experiencing mental health and wellbeing problems.

The Enablement Service is a new service offered by Derbyshire County Council's Mental Health Direct Care Team. It aims to assist people with mental ill health to develop the skills they need in order to improve the quality of their lives.

People receiving the service are supported by an enablement worker, who will help them to develop confidence in daily living tasks, such as shopping, travelling, cooking, cleaning and managing their finances. People may also be supported to join education or training classes, to find suitable paid or voluntary employment or to join community social groups.

Training, microgrant funding sessions and Dementia Friends information session in July 2017

Training sessions are taking place in:
- Long Eaton on Wednesday 5 July
- Bakewell on Tuesday 11 July
- Bolsover on Wednesday 12 July
- Ripley on Wednesday 19 July.
Further sessions will run throughout 2017.
There are three sessions throughout the day:
• Dementia Friends Information Session (9.30 to 10.15am) – learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities
• Befriending Champions training session (10.30am to 1pm)– find out what it is to be a Befriending Champion, the skills needed and how to carry out the role
• Microgrant funding information/workshop session (1.30 to 3.15pm) – support to develop project ideas that reduce isolation and loneliness in Derbyshire, how to apply for the microgrant, and help to access other sources of local funding
The day runs from 9.30am to 3.15pm. People can attend one, two or all three sessions. Lunch is provided.
