News: High Peak Diabetic Self Help Group

High Peak Diabetic Self Help Group is holding a special meeting at the Buckingham Hotel, Buxton to discuss the implications of DVLA regulations on people with diabetes.

This FREE meeting take place at 7pm Monday 20 February, and everyone is welcome.  

As usual, information leaflets etc will be available to take away.

RAD is a well-established charity based in Matlock with an exciting and challenging time ahead and is looking for a new CEO who has the vision and experience to take the organisation forward. 

The new CEO needs to have experience of successfully managing a team of staff, securing new income streams and solid experience of the development and delivery of services.

If you are visionary and resourceful with an entrepreneurial spirit, you may be just the person we are looking for.

Job: Marketing Officer

Organisation: Voluntary and Community Services Peaks and Dales

Salary: 16 hrs/wk @ £23,935 FTE = £10,350 pa

This is a new role to help develop and expand marketing activities. You will work with the Business Development Manager to produce a Marketing Plan incorporating market research to support activities and grant bids, and develop and manage a new, forward-looking brand identity. You will also be responsible for generating media coverage, and will work alongside the Community and Events Fundraiser to provide marketing expertise for fundraising events.

Job: Community and Events Fundraiser

Organisation: Voluntary and Community Services Peaks and Dales

Salary: 22.5 hrs/wk @£23,935 FTE = £14,555 pa

This is a new role to help develop fundraising activities. The Community and Events Fundraiser will work alongside the Marketing Officer and will have the responsibility for proactively developing fundraising through a range of imaginative events. You will also be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting local community volunteers in their own fundraising efforts on our behalf.
