Launch of New Grapevine

The Grapevine Wellbeing centre at Scarsdale Place in Buxton launched their new service in May 2013.

Pictured with deputy Mayor, Graham Oakley, the charity’s new trustees worked tirelessly to get the service back up and running with a fresh approach to benefit all High Peak residents with mental health issues.

The launch included the opportunity to complete a survey, stating what members and potential members think the priorities of the new service should be, ensuring a real community-centred service.

Smart new refurbishment of the premises could be shown off on the day, balloons, goody bags, a lovely buffet, networking, and a beautiful celebration cake.

The day was rounded off by a musical fundraiser at the Old Clubhouse organised by Billy Hobbs.

The Deputy Mayor cut the ribbon and announced the new Grapevine officially open saying, ".. This is a vital service and every town should have one..”
