In March 2020, a worldwide pandemic took hold, changing everyone’s way of life. Almost 700 million cases were recorded, with almost 7 million people globally dying from the virus.
Although the legal restrictions have now ended it is still important to consider how you can continue to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.

The NHS also has information about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
At the beginning of the pandemic, in response to the ever-changing climate and guidance, we were overwhelmed with offers of help and support from the local communities and services towards those that are at high risk and particularly vulnerable at this time.
As such, we set up a community Facebook group to bring together these groups and organisations across the High Peak in one place to share your fantastic work and more importantly make it easier for people to access the support they need.
Using our social media we will offer to share any initiatives set up to support those that are isolating due to the COVID-19 situation. In addition we are asking for this information to be sent to hello@highpeakcvs.org.uk so that we can collate them and share them appropriately.
