With our up-coming AGM, nominations for our Crompton & Woodcock Award have opened!
Do you know a deserving group who you would like to see gain recognition for all that they do? Or do you work alongside an organisation who inspire you and the local High Peak community.
The award celebrates community-led groups and, in particular, a group that is shown to have made a significant impact with their service and activities in the last 12 months.
In memory of previous chairpersons Chris Woodcock and Mike Crompton, the award will offer local groups the opportunity to raise their profile and gain recognition for the hard work they do.
Groups can nominate themselves or be
nominated by someone else
High Peak Borough Council generously are supporting this award. High Peak CVS will convene a small panel who will shortlist and decide the winner then present the award, a certificate and cheque for £750 for the winner, £250 for runner up and £100 for the 3rd placed group. The announcement and awards will take place at our Annual General Meeting on 12th November 2025.
The award is open to all groups, however small or large, newly formed or long established, and High Peak CVS encourage everyone to apply.
