Activities on the night were provided by

  • Acclimbatize Climbing Wall
  • High Peak Golf Club
  • Buxton Hockey Club
  • Buxton Rugby Club
  • Buxton Amateur Boxing Club
  • High Peak Community Arts

Also there are on the night were

  • Change Grow Live (Young peoples Substance use support)
  • Compass Changing Lives (mental Health Support)

This event organised and hosted by High Peak CVS was funded though Derbyshire County Council’s Social Connect work, aiming to reduce isolation within communities by connecting residents to groups and services that can support their physical, emotional and mental well being.

We paid for the climbing wall and gave out    free hotdogs/burgers all the other groups and organisations gave their time and services for free to engage with young people and show them what opportunities are available to them locally
