Multiple Mental Health Groups gathered for Living Well Happy High Peak event
High Peak CVS saw DOZENS OF local mental health groups and services on offer in our High Peak community.
‘Our High Peak Living Well Locality Coordinator Mandy, kickstarted her new role to provide opportunity for local Health and Wellbeing teams, organisations, groups, and individual’s, to join together in collaboration by running a Meet the Groups event!
We were blown away by the response to our Happy High Peak event at Holy Trinity Church from both the NHS teams, GP staff, local VCSE, local church communities, volunteers and people with lived experience, our Mental Health Commissioner and our local councillor’s.
25 tables were hosting many different, local Wellness organisations, groups, activities. Over 100 connections were made during the day!
Multiple conversations began to flow over refreshments, filling the hall with the wonderful sound of co-production – reverberating positivity.
With over 50 attendees, each table was buzzing with a hive of activity as knowledge was shared, groups were promoted and invaluable learning and connection was the natural bi-product of real conversation.
And the best part of the event was seeing how as people left the event, they were literally glowing with excitement of the possibilities presented to them at this event.
