High Peak Community and Voluntary Support (CVS) was delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Derbyshire, Sir Richard FitzHerbert Bt, to our Whaley Bridge offices recently.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the immensely positive impact of our social prescribing service, which supports High Peak residents to improve their health and wellbeing through community-based activities and support.

Sir Richard also learned more about the vital role our bereavement service and community group development team play in supporting individuals and strengthening communities across the High Peak.
