With huge thanks to our recent Lottery funding success, we are delighted to welcome our new Bereavement Support worker, Karen McLaren, joining Liz on our HPCVS Bereavement Service.
Karen (centre) has already been volunteering for us in the Glossop support group for the last 10 months, while she completed her professional counselling diploma.

With Karen in post we are looking forward to expanding our service and will be opening two more High Peak groups in the near future.
Our invaluable, free to attend support groups are safe therapeutic space for adults with significant loss, to come together, to understand and support each other.
