The community club CANDO has formed a new branch for health walking.

Called ‘Focused Walking’, it has been designed by a team of leading academics and practical coaches to enable anyone, even with mild to moderate mobility issues, to gain both physical and mental health benefits from the simple act of walking.

Intended to be friendly, social and easy to do, the club sessions can be adapted to virtually all abilities and ages.

Initially sessions will be held in Buxton Country Park (Pooles Cavern) on Fridays. The intended start date is 21 May.  Although free of charge it is necessary to book on the sessions.  If interested, why not give it a try?  Contact Phill at peakfit2@gmail.com or 07484868949.
