High Peak CVS employs a part time funding officer who helps groups identify potential funders.  There are thousands of grant makers who each have their own detailed criteria covering everything from the type of activity they wish to fund, the geographical area they focus on, the kinds of organisations they will fund and the size of grants they make.  So HPCVS offer their members help to navigate the funding landscape, this support includes;

In addition HPCVS also manages small pots of funding on behalf of other organisations such as Public Health and The Police and Crime Commissioner.  The availability of these grants varies throughout the year and information about them and the application process is made available via the Funding Update and HPCVS Newsletter.

Community Climate Change fund

The High Peak Community Climate Change Fund has been established as part of the Council’s efforts to tackle climate change. The fund is intended to provide small grants to community-based organisations taking measures locally to tackle the climate emergency.

Small grants are available to help support the delivery of High Peak Borough Council’s Climate Change Strategy 

UK Shared Prosperity Fund

The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK.

The UK government Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has launched the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UKSPF is part of the national Levelling Up agenda and is based on three investment priorities which are:

  • Communities and place,
  • Supporting local business
  • People and skills.

We have been lucky enough to gain access to the Charity Excellence Framework funding database for free.
